NEW YORK -- The New Century Home Equity Loan Trust, series 2005-A, mortgage pass-through certificates are rated by Fitch as follows:

-- $7.4 million class M-4 'A+';
-- $5.9 million class M-5 'A';
-- $4.9 million class M-6 'A-';

The B-1 and B-2 certificates are not offered.
The 'AAA' rating on the senior certificates reflects the 10.65% total credit enhancement provided by the 2.45% class M-1, the 2.40% class M-2, the 0.68% class M-3, the 0.75% class M-4, the 0.60% class M-5, the 0.49% class M-6, the 0.50% class M-7, the 0.38% class M-8, the 0.50% class M-9, the 0.55% B-1, the 0.55% B-2, and the 0.80% initial overcollateralization (OC). All certificates have the benefit of monthly excess cash flow to absorb losses. In addition, the ratings reflect the integrity of the transaction's legal structure as well as the primary servicing capabilities of Countrywide Home Loans Servicing LP, which is rated 'RPS1' by Fitch. Deutsche Bank National Trust Company will act as Trustee.
As of the cut-off date (June 1, 2005), the mortgage loans have an aggregate balance of $989,221,371. The weighted average mortgage rate is approximately 6.732% and the weighted average remaining term to maturity is 345 months. The average cut-off date principal balance of the mortgage loans is approximately $182,009. The weighted average original loan-to-value ratio is 75.54% and the weighted average Fair, Isaac & Co. (FICO) score is 640. The properties are primarily located in California (30.04%), Florida (9.96%) and New York (9.54%).
